”As many of you know, the Birmingham running community lost one of our own a couple days ago. Jeremy Moujoodi was an amazing runner and an even more amazing husband, father (of 3 boys), and human. On Wednesday morning he ran 10 miles on the Lakeshore Trail and shortly after, he died of natural causes. He then went home to be with the Lord he loved so much. Join me in supporting his wife, Kelly and their 3 young boys…” Cadence Run Coaching posted on Facebook.
Jeremy Moujoodi Obituary
”I have never felt more loved and supported by all of the people who knew him, me, or other members of the family. Every single message means so much to me even if I haven’t responded to you. I know I will cling to all of your words over the coming days, weeks, months, and years. For those who would like to honor him and show your support for our family, the service details are below. There are really no words to describe these unfortunate circumstances, but all I can do is encourage you to cling to your faith in the Lord and never let an opportunity go by to express your love to those around you. Life is terribly short and tomorrow is not guaranteed, so don’t take one minute for granted. All we can do is put our trust in God’s plan.
The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 31st in the Chapel at Church of the Highlands Grants Mill campus. The address is 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, AL 35210. Note this is in the chapel building and not the main building/auditorium. Visitation will be held beforehand from 11-1. All are welcome to attend both the visitation and the funeral service. However, after the funeral service is over, the graveside service will be private. Jeremy Moujoodi, you ran your race and I was with you every step of the way. You won (as you often do) and are running with Jesus now. I love you forever and the boys will always know how much you loved them.…”
